As you know folks, I just returned from 40 days in a Army Hospital for an infection that threatened my life!!! By the way, I forgot to tell you that I have a small blood clot in my arm because of it but it is dissolving, but that is life!!! One again I want to speak on behalf of all veteran's, young and old, for on May 25 marks the 52 year since I went to war in VietNam!!! The problems that the present VA Health System has is that it is outdated, and a major problem is that the "left hand does not know what the right hand is doing in relation to the veteran patient"!!! I saw medical mistakes made that should not happen because of inadequate instructions and other errors!!! Folks, like I mentioned before, I have been fighting this fight for over 50 years especially when it comes to "Agent Orange & Insect Repellant used on us for which many Veterans now suffer!!!! Now I find out talking to the bright young members of our American military that they are having the same problems with the health system hat we had 50 years ago. I have had adequate service for 50, but the fact is they lied to us about the chemicals they on us and now we must suffer the results!! The current members of ourAmerican military are shining examples of the future of their guarding America, then the future and protection of our America is well provided!! Since they put their lives on the line for us just like we did, shouldn't you the American people demand they be given them and us a good VA Health System in return, for it is the least that we can do, for it helps with the sacrifices they made!!! We can do anything folks, for we are the American people plus it is the right thing to do!!!
