Folks, with all of the troubles that we have in America today, there is one bright spot that shines above all of those problems and give we, the American people, heart that we are united as one as a people no matter how much they try to divide us!! In watching all of the "strong and courageous people who showed up and volunteering in Texas and Louisiana during the Hurricane Harvey natural disaster, it makes you proud to call yourself an American in giving themselves so completely in trying to save the lives of our fellow Americans with out pay and working long hours to accomplish the tasks that needed to be completed"!!! Some in are American society because of politics, have tried to split us apart and have us fighting one another, but when you have people's lives at stake, the American people always make it their "finest hour for they are not looking not for the glory, but rather giving your fellow Americans a helping hand when they most need it"!! It also does not matter what your skin color is, what your religion is, what part of the political landscape you believe in, it is the American "guts and courage that shine through in the hour of need with volunteers, for we are all in this together as Americans and stand up to protect each other lives and the lives our families"!! Even if you cannot be on the scene to help and volunteer, you can do the next best thing by contributing some money to the Salvation Army and the Red Cross along with clothing and other life's necessities to help those in need!!! American people need a helping hand in their hour of need and we, the American people, will not disappoint them, proving once again the spirit of the American people can never be defeated!!!! God bless all of you, the hard working volunteers, for proving once again that America is never divided, but rather stand together shoulder to shoulder and helping each other in their hour of need for that is the true American way!!!!......(Second blog at tumblr.com/commonman1)........
