As a Vietnam veteran, I want to say to the American people, HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY AMERICAN PEOPLE, for it is a day to remember American veterans who put their lives on the line and as some have given them for you, American people!!! We gave up our good life to put our lives where it may do the best for America and you, the American people in times of war!! Union General Sherman said it the best when he said "War is hell" for it is and we, the American veterans, carry the horrors of it around for the rest of our lives!! But I will tell you one thing, if you asked every American veteran, would you do it again for our America, the answer would be a strong "YES", for is it our America that we will always protect and defend without any doubt!! So enjoy this MEMORIAL DAY but stop and remember those of us who have served and given their lives for America for they truly are the "chosen ones in our American History"!!! Thank You!!.....
